Springville Extreme 6K Quarry Run

Starting Line at the Corner of Broadway & 4th ST

Runners will start in downtown Springville, head west and traverse a steep descent into the working Wendling Quarry. While in the depths of the quarry they will travel through a tunnel, blasted through the rock under Highway 151, turn around, come back through the tunnel and up an aggressive ascent before finishing downtown. Awards will be given for top finishers of the 6K, both overall and age division. Within the race itself, the fastest male and female to run up the hill in the quarry will be crowned King and Queen of the Hill Challenge.

With the gracious support of Wendling Quarries Inc., this event has been organized as a fundraiser to help support Springville Fire and Rescue Department. This year we’re donating all profits to the Springville Fire Dept to help purchase new equipment so they can better help our community.
